I tried to upgrade my laptop (HP nx9420 with an ATI X1600 mobility) from Hardy to Intrepid. While the upgrade went smoothly, the reboot was not fun at all. The fglrx driver didn’t work, the radeon driver more or less worked. I could start gdm and log in, but gnome didn’t start up, it hung [...]
